Microsoft Office 2007 Look
Some minutes ago I was finish installation of the Microsoft Office 2007 ("Office 2007"). This is great. Of course I am not thinking that this is revolution version, it have too many things from old versions. However Ribbon Toolbars and how they use title space - this is great-great ideas.
Okay, all is great. However as always something wrong. Now this wrong is that Office 2007 has too many interfaces. Word, Excel, PowerPoint have new Ribbon toolbars, Outlook have new colored but still old toolbars, and other application have old toolbars at all. Of course possible that this is only because it is beta. Hope Microsoft will have new interface in all their applications.
P.S. Tomorrow I will try to install proofing tools from Office 2003 and post result here.

Does anybody know how?
I was not able to install proofing tools 2003 on office 2007
Do you have any idea how?
Basically you need to install office 2003, install proffing tools, then install office 2007, then uninstall office 2003. Thats all.
That is exacty what I thought, but when I tried to install office 2007 it requested that I should uninstall office 2003 First
Oh yes, work sequence is to remove Office 2003 and then install Office 2007.
Uninstallation of the Office 2003 will not affect on the proffing tools.
P.S. By proofing tools I mean separate package(installation).
Also try to backup C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\PROOF\ and after office 2003 unistall restore this folder and then install Office 2007
thank you very much, it worked great.
by the way you don't have to backup and restore (proof) directory
you can install 2007 first, then install 2003 but only word or excel.., then install proofing Tools 2003. It'l work all ofice 2007 and 2003, however you can uninstall 2003 (don't forget to backup proof 2003) :))
Actually you don't need to install words or any other, you can install just the Proofing Tools of the language of your choice, so you wan't have to uninstall anything after.
